Build on Openelec ?

I got the Raspberry 2, and installed Rasplex (not the latest beta).

I wasn't happy with the result, it was laggy and remote did not work and HDMI-CEC did not work.

I installed openelec instead and everything worked great - AND it was much much easier to install.

 

So now I am wondering, is rasplex build on openelec and if so, what version?

0.5.1 is built on OpenELEC 3.2.4, the next release is built on 5.0.x.
