Bulk Unmatch SQLite Command?

G’day everyone,

I have a music library currently consisting of 1300+ albums and I want to switch it to use only local metadata and images so that I can maintain better control over the presentation of every album.

Is there a SQLite command that I can use to unmatch every item in a specific library?

No. If you want to change the entire library, it is probably easier to create a new library and use the personal agent.

I had a feeling that might be the case.

Thanks so much.

What exactly does this mean?
If you enable “Prefer local metatags” and provide a cover.jpg for albumart, there is not much left that is fetched from online sources. Mainly only artist bios and album reviews.
Everything else can be overrridden with embedded meta tags. Even a chosen artist picture can be supplied with a local file.

I had originally set up the library using the default settings, but I wasn’t satisfied with the Plex matching, so decided to manually apply metatags and images to each music file.

So my question was whether there was a way to unmatch albums that had originally been matched, so that after I had edited the library settings to use all local metadata, none of the albums would default to their original matches, as appeared to be happening.

Anyway, I’ve followed the advice of the Plex staff member and deleted the library, cleaned all bundles to remove any stale matching data, then recreated it being sure to set it to only use local tags and images.

Job done … just not necessarily in the most ideal way.
