Buy PlexPass in Dollar instead of Euro

Hello,

as Amazon has cut the cords for unlimited storage in Germany its time to get back to the roots. Because i wont miss the Timeline Functionality for photos in plex im evaluating Plexpass Lifetime for me.
Now the question:
Is it possible to buy in dollar instead of eur in germany? I could use a VPN to achieve this. Do i have any restrictions when i have a usa plexpass and use this with a “german” account?

I’m not an expert on this, but I wouldn’t see any sort of problem or restrictions that it would cause. For example, in the program that we use, it downloads either plexpass or plexpublic (tags), but there are no restrictions by geographical regions that would cause issues, if that’s what your concern is.
