Will be retiring my WD My Cloud Home and Seagate Personal cloud as there is no plex update for WD My Cloud and facing transcoding issue with Seagate. Not looking for very expensive solution and able to support multiple remote users. Would appreciate any recommendation for NAS with Hardware Transcoding or your experience with your current NAS Server .

Synology is decent but for the price you can build your own and have it be more powerful with something like freenas or unraid.
This way you can upgrade in the future and build it for what you need.
NAS’s are currently suffering from a bug where 1 core will be used at 100%. Wouldn’t recommend buying a NAS for plex at the moment.
Building a PC is a issue as fitting it at the current place wont fit. My data is currently over 9 TB with around 12 family members connected remotely. My Main Server is on Seagate Personal, 2nd Plex Server on WD My Cloud (not connected for remote user* even did port forwarding but still no luck ) and another Seagate drive connected to Main Server Via USB. so instead of having multiple storage, looking for 1 single storage and single plex server instead of 2.
Which Synology you would recommend for plex connected with 12 to 15 users remotely

Wow thanks man Synology Live Demo is amazing and that was something i really wanted to buy for long time. Not only for plex, i can host my website site and mail server as well … thanks you soo much. I already have Plex Pass and this server will resolve soo many issue of mine
