Camera upload from IOS 13.2 is uploading photos as MOV files

Hi All

Since upgrading my iPhone IOS to 13.x (and my wife’s phone too) the camera upload feature within Plex is uploading my photos with a .MOV extension instead of .JPG. So all files, regardless of whether it’s a movie or photo, are being uploaded to my Plex server (Windows 10, version 1903, Plex version 1.18.1.1973) as a .MOV file.

Any suggestions? It seems to have occurred after the initial 13.x upgrade.

Having same problem.

All new live photo uploads are .plist files.

Same issue here. All live photo uploads are in mov format after camera upload and not viewable on Plex :disappointed:

No, not that I’ve seen.

I’ve just been running a basic rename script in a command prompt e.g. “ren *.plist *.JPG”. Works fine, but obviously a pain.

I have the same problem. All the live photos are imported as *.mov, no JPG, no plist.
