Camera Upload working but want to hide from the library.

I like the camera upload but when I have people over to watch plex i really don’t want them to see all my uploaded pics. I don’t see an option to hide the photos. Is there a way to have the camera upload on but hide them from the library? It only happens on my account i know and i really don’t want to have to make a different account just to hide something that should have an option to hide.

There is no way unless you want to create a PlexHome and create a new managed user who will not have access to your photos and place a PIN on your main account to protect it while leaving the other without PIN to allow access to others.

There IS a way to hide them from your Dashboard, yes! From your Dashboard look in your Library list and hover your mouse to the right of the Library folder called Mobile Photos. Click on the Edit pencil which will open up another window. Form that window select Advanced. There you will see a check box that says Include In Dashboard. It is probably currently checked which will then show your photos on your main Dashboard. Un-check that box and they will not longer show up on your Dashboard and your friends that are over will not see them. You can STILL view them by simply navigating to your Mobile Phone library at anytime and they’ll display like any other library folder. Hope this helped.

Thanks for the replies. I have that unchecked already and it does do what you said. Photos do not show up on the main dashboard but under libraries list it is still clickable for anyone at my house to open and look at any pictures. I just would like an option to uncheck (or check) to show or not show the photos under my library list while keeping the upload enabled. And not having to make another dummy account for myself just to do that.
