Can anyone tell me why this video plays choppy in Plex but fine everywhere else?

These are the video specs. The video plays fine with Emby and Infuse on the Apple TV. The video is unwatchable on Plex for Apple TV. Is there anything incompatible with the video specs?

When you say choppy, you mean like a constant stutter?

If so it’s not the file.

Same here on apple tv 4k last gen, but it really got worse updating to tvOS 17 and latest plex app. Sometimes it’s working but when it gets to a part where there is a lot of things moving on screen, it’s totally unwatchable: stuttering like hell (but sound is still working fine) (the player overlay shows a lot of dropped frames during the stutter, like it can’t catch up). Have to stop, relaunch, stop again, relaunch and eventually i can get past the part without stutters…

Yes it stutters and audio is out of sync. It doesn’t happen with all 4K files. This might be the only file that suffers from the issue so I was wondering what about the file causes it to occur.

Yes, it stutters with old audio engine but plays fjust ine with the old video player. This is the latest Apple TV 4K. I may just leave that setting on going forward.
