Can I Add Files from Different Folders?

I want to separate 4k stuff from everything else but have it in the same Library in Plex.

I am planning on adding the following folders to a new hard disk:

Movies
TV Series
Kids TV
Documentaries
4k Movies
4k TV Series

Files will be named correctly in each folder - just keeping the 4k stuff apart from non-4k stuff (it may even live on a second hard drive).

Just making sure I can add two (or more) “sources” of media and have it as a combined library on the Plex client? I think I have that set up now but have forgotten / at work so can’t check.

You will end up with 4 libraries. TV, Movies, 4K TV, 4K Movies if you want to separate them. Plex doesn’t care about the number of folders added as source directories. It ends up just combining them.

You can add as many paths as you like to this dialog. All will be combined in a single library.
