Can I close Terminal windows after starting?

Hello, I'm new to Plex so...

 

I was just wondering about PlexConnect. After I launch the PlexConnect.py, can I close the window? I'm using Mac right now but will also be wondering about Windows.

The command window needs to be running on Windows as well otherwise you stop the process and Plexconnect is not there to intercept the requests.

there are a couple of threads on the forum about changing the name to .pyw and this then runs in the background, or on mac or windows there are setup options to get it running as a dameon or service.

CMD+H will hide the windows on mac!
