Can I create a Private Podcast?

I have all of the “Mystery Theater” episodes and would like to be able to listen to them in Plex.

They don’t work well under the Music category so I would like to add them as a podcast. When I try to add by url and point to the directory on my Synology it obviously doesn’t work.

I don’t know if I need some kind of txt or xml file with all of the data for Plex to access these files.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

We don’t currently support private podcasts, or podcasts stored locally in your Plex library (outside of offline sync). However, we’ve gotten this feature request a few times and have added it to our list for consideration. Thank you!
