Can I move a thread/recatagorize it?

I have a thread that I have opened in a category that is inaccurate.
I would like to move the thread to the appropriate thread - is that possible? If so, how?

You can’t but a mod can. Just ask a mod to move the post where you feel it should go.

What the link to the thread you want moved? Where do you want it moved to?

I’ll try to be careful about where things end up started in the future, but in the event they need moved, is a new thread requesting a move the best way to go, or pm someone, or…?

Creating a new thread requesting the move is not the most optimal way to go.
Your better bet is to reply in the same thread you started the topic in to request the move.
