Can I play a different movie from my movie library on multiple TV's?

I have 5 TV’s…I would like to play a different movie on each one simultaneously. Can I keep my movies on a host server and play a different movie on each screen?

I also need the ability to have continuous play…so when one movie finishes, another will start. Can I do that?

Currently I have a Minx box with flash drives full of movies on each TV and each one is controlled separately…kind of a pain.

Thanks!

Yes, if the server is strong enough for it, you can do that.

Depends if ‘continuous’ means ‘play for several hours’ or ‘play indefinitely’.
Plex will usually stop playback after a few hours of no interaction.

If you are after something like “digital signage”, you should better look for software/devices in this direction.

While Plex has a way to cast media to other devices, it is not intended to control 5 different devices simultaneously. You will always have to connect to the player, selct your media/playlist and play it, then break the connection and connect to the next player.

Thanks OttoKerner. I’ve looked into digital signage companies and they all do short videos for office waiting rooms and stuff. Sounds like I need a hardware solution though…just not having luck finding one.
