i have a hdquattro, I can record 4 shows at same time, or watch 4 live streams, or any combination thereof.
if you are recording 2 shows with 2 (only) tuners, you won’t be able to watch or record a 3rd show.
You may also want to be aware of time overlap if you have shows after each other but different start/end times.
