Dual-Homerun Tuners recording multiple shows on multiple HD HomeRun Dual-Tuners

I got two dual-tuner boxes from HD HomeRun Flex Duo on Amazon.ca and I want to know if I use up both tuners of one dual-tuner boxes, if there is a need to utilize the second box that has another Dual-Tuners on that second box to record/play more live tv sessions all at the same time?

I want to record two channels on one box and watch one show on another box that has two additional tuners and record on the second one at the same time; will this work properly?

If I am understanding you correctly you have 2 x 2 Tuner HD HomeRun’s. This means you can tune in up to 4 channels at the same time. Doesn’t matter if that is watching or recording.

I have 2 x 4 tuner HD HomeRun’s and have had 8 channels going at once.
