Problem:
When I shuffle this playlist in plexamp everything appears okay for a while but somewhere after the 25-50 played track plexamp will start to re-select tracks which have played previously. This is not desired.
What I’d like:
When I shuffle the playlist I’d like it to shuffle entire playlist and NOT repeat any tracks until everything has played at least once from the currently selected shuffle. So, anyone know how I can accomplish this ?

I’ve confirmed the same track does not appear multiple times on the playlist.
I’ve not stopped and restarted/re-shuffled the playlist. It’s a single continuous play.
Enable/disabling Enable smart shuffling on artists and smart music playlists in the server settings has no effect.
My guess is plexamp is trying to be smart re-selecting tracks it thinks I like, but this is not what I want from this use case.
Perhaps add a “Track Last Played” criterion set to “is not in the last” some number of minutes (or seconds or hours, whatever makes sense) to your filters? I’ve not tested this and am not sure how dynamic smart playlists are, but if it updates frequently, that should be enough to exclude tracks (and allow them to naturally fall back in later).
… and its working well, at least so far. Have played 100+ tracks and no repeats of tracks previously played since adjusting the filter.
I’m still however scratching my head how a basic shuffle of a playlist without repeating tracks is not available. Your suggestion is more of a workaround than a solution but I don’t want to sound ungrateful as its a good workaround so thanks
Plexamp however should give us the option to just shuffle without any track play ranking as its working through the playlist. Need to check other plex clients as I suspect plexamp is the only one doing this.
Smart shuffle does much of this, biasing against recently played tracks. You can adjust the window with a hidden server setting RadioDaysSinceLastPlayed (applies to all shuffles).
Just so I understood that advanced setting. If I was to set that to something big like 365 days would it kinda disable the bias of previously played tracks when shuffling or does it have a hard upper limit ?
However, that setting is for tracks that have not been played recently. Unless I’m missing something that would not stop the problem I originally posted where plexamp replayed tracks again.
