Hi,
This has been an issue for me for a few years (probably since downloads started to use original streams rather than transcoding?)
My DVD Rips work fine everywhere.
TV Recordings (Which I use NPVR for) work perfectly on LAN and even WAN, but when I download them to watch offline on Android tablets or phones I can only get a few minutes before playback becomes corrupted and I have to stop, restart playback and goto approx the place where I was watching and then get a while more until the same thing happens.
I only watch a relatively small number of recordings offline, so I dont want to pre-transcode everything. I also don’t want to transcode DVD rips which are fine already.
Is there a way I can transcode a single library when downloading to watch offline?
Probably not - but it can’t hurt to ask!
