I want to save images from a remote computer to my Plex server. I know the iOS app allows you to upload your entire library to the server, but I want to do that with my computer (and not the entire library, just a few images now and then).
I can’t find anywhere where this is allowed, am I just blind or is this not a feature of the web app? If it is not a feature, is there any common way you guys might do similar things?
No, like movies and tv shows, you cannot upload generally via the clients (with the camera upload for photos being a very specific exception).
One thing you could do it setup an ftp server on your computer that would allow you to upload into your photo folder. The auto scan should then pick up changes and display the photo. Not going through Plex, but it’s one idea that could do what you want. Hope it helps.
A cloud service like Dropbox could also help. May be simpler than setting up an ftp.
