Can I use multiple NAS devices?

I’m completely new to Plex and I haven’t been able to find the answer to this question. Can I hook up multiple NAS devices to get more total storage space? For example, if I maxed out the space on an 8-bay NAS, can I purchase another 8-bay NAS, hook it up, and then start adding more media to that and still access the content on both? I saw another article about someone wanting to run two redundant NAS systems to reduce latency, but I’m just looking at total sace.

Thanks!

Sure!

I would probably just get one or more expansion units though.

Or replace small drives with larger once space rund out.

Awesome! A larger unit would be better, I agree. Mainly I was wanting to make sure I didn’t hit a brick wall if I ran out of space after I became financially and emotionally invested in this. I’ve never set up a home media server and I don’t know how fast I will fill everything up.

Thanks!

Yes, a library can have multiple sources.

Where is your Plex Server installed? On the NAS itself or on a computer?
