The storage on my DS918+ is reaching capacity and one of my friends theorized it should be no problem if I got another Synology I could easily path it to my current Plex server. I’ve been running into some issues on getting that to work and granted I probably should have just got a bigger server with more slots for my hardrives, I’m either not wording it correctly or I just don’t know what I want but is it possible to somehow connect my new DS920 to my already running Plex Server, or is there a way to share my folders from the newest Synology Server to the current one that has Plex on it?

A quick question, if I ever shut down the Synology NAS it seems to sever the link between both. Is there a way to reactivate it at all?
