I completely agree. Supposedly they were going to issue a fix for it, yet all I’m seeing is more and more people reporting loosing this same feature on other platforms. We need to get this feature restored so that we have full access to our lists.
Is it really hard as a developer to enable a removal feature back that was there before. Even after it has been acknowledged, and nothing yet…

Any update when the fix will be live?
I’m actually embarrassed for the devs who though releasing an update with completely removed standard functionality was somehow a good idea. How does this get through in-house/alpha/beta testing all the way to production without realizing basic functionality has been removed?
I am completely at a loss for words.

@DaveBinM Please, do jump in. We haven’t heard from @jesusmc since September on this. Others have asked for an update and I myself have sent at least 1 direct message to him. Nothing has been answered yet. Please do jump in and help get this resolved.

I’m afraid there is no good answer for that, we’re not a big team and we’re pretty busy. Since nobody was working on this, we didn’t give an update in the meantime. I finally got around to it and I can now confirm it will happen in v8.12.
Any idea of timeline for 8.12?
I’m not trying to hurry you, I’m just afraid of my wife murdering me in my sleep because she can’t manage her playlist anymore.

We are rapidly approaching 30 days from when you confirmed the fix will be in 8.12. I recognize the holidays are upon us, but do you have any estimate on when that release will be ready?
8.12 is scheduled to be released mid January.
As mid-January is officially upon us, I’m hoping to see the update that contains this fix any moment.
Hahahahah wow!! I thought I was just missing something, because I couldn’t figure out how to remove a show from Plex. Nope, turns out it’s been an issue since September hahaha. Yikes.
This release is already in public beta
My android tv is still on 8.11 and no update appears available. Not sure how I would get the beta if you aren’t going to wide release it like we all need.
Getting the betas requires signing up for them. Once it’s gone through QA testing and the beta process, it’ll be publicly available for all.
So your mid-January statement was for the beta? How about the general release of it? Having to use the website to modify playlists is ridiculous.
