Hello Everyone!
So, I just downloaded Plex tonight to try and setup my first plex server, but I think I’ve already hosed things up royally.
I installed my plex server while I still had my vpn running. When I turn my VPN off and try to access my plex through app.plex.tv I get an error that says “Unable to connect to “Server Name” securely. Its “Secure connections” setting may be set to disabled, or you may need to adjust some settings on your network. You can [learn more about secure connections here]”
When I turn my VPN on, it can securely connect to my server and allows me to see my movies, but every settings tab tells me that “Server settings are unavailable”
Trying to access from 127.0.0.1:32400 either with VPN on or off fails.
My end goal would be able to keep my VPN on on my desktop and still be able to stream to my Xbox, which I am unable to do currently, but I think I need to regain access to my settings first.
