The problem occurred recently, haven’t changed anything in the settings since first setup.
The content (Music and videos) just stops playing, the UI loads but the content doesn’t play, its just stuck at an endless loading.
This problem when it occurs happens on all devices.
We are 8 people in the house, each person has at-least one device.
The only solution I got is to restart the Physical server, closing and restarting Plex server does not appear to work. Then the problem goes away for like 2 days.
My server is running Windows Server 2016
Has a dual core CPU and 2 GB of RAM, I know its a bit under-powered but 90% of the content is compatible with direct play.
When everyone is watching, I get about 10% CPU usage (90% free) and 60-80% RAM usage.
Everyone has at-least a full 100mbs connection to the server, with some devices at gigabit, the house is split into two networks, each on their own gigabit interface.
The content is anything from 320p to 1080p, h264 and h265 encoding with mp4 and mkv containers only.
My list of players is below, we use a bit of everything so I assume its something with the server.
