Can Plex do this?

Hi all

I have a pre-purchase question on sources. I’ve not installed Plex yet or know all its potential.

Can I use Plex as my unified controller of all my music streaming services and my ripped CD library? My streaming services are Slacker and Amazon, plus I may add Tidal later. The Plex server will be on my Synology DS720+. The client side DAC is through a DLNA device (DAX88) on my network.

Maybe there is a list of all the supported streaming services? I’m curious how well Plex supports the more obscure streaming services (like Slacker).

Thanks.

Plex will only play your ripped CD library. There used to be Tidal integration, but that ended recently: TIDAL integration with Plex ending October 28, 2024 - Announcements - Plex Forum.

As a sidenote:

All of Plex’s core features are free - you can set up a server pointed at your music library, and use the Plex apps/Plexamp to play your music locally or remotely.

Thanks. I guess the answers to my google searches on this subject were not correct. Their search “AI” told me Plex supports LiveOne Slacker.
