Can’t Access Media Server

I have the most recent version of Plex Media Server on my iMac installed. Up until last week, it was working fine and I could access it using 127.0.0.1:32400. However, thr past few days I could no longer access it and I’m not sure what has changed. I did recently update to the latest version of Ventura as there was a macOS update last week.

What’s interesting is if I put my iMac’s IP address in instead of 127.0.0.1, I’m able to see the Plex media interface in my web browser. However, since I completed uninstalled Plex media server and all settings and then reinstalled, I’m not even able to get to the settings page after I click my user name.

Now, when I enter the IP address of my iMac to access Plex, it shows the various users I setup on my Plex Server and then presents me with a screen saying it’s time to setup my plex media server. The wheel spins and spins and then it tells me to visit the forums for support.

Any ideas/suggestions? This is extremely frustrating. Not sure where to go with this. To be clear, I use my iMac as my plex media server. Until recently, no issues but now I can’t even seem to get in. .

Good Luck,

Unfortunately going back to an older version of Plex did not resolve the issue. When I replace 127.0.0.1 with either my iMac’s IP address , it does successfully take me to the Plex page and the setup begins but then it stops after spinning for a while and says

" A problem has been detected with a core component of Plex Media Server. Please visit the forums and provide your logs"

I did somehow manage to get to through the setup screen but can’t even add any media to my library and once I exit, the next time I go back in it’s requesting that I Setup the server all over again. I’ve attached the log files.

I should also point out that I’m able to access 127.0.0.1 when using Radarr and Sonarr, so the issue is very specific to Plex Media Server which makes the entire issue all the more strange.
