Can’t get back to full screen live TV when using PIP to look at guide

Recently I have noticed when watching live tv on my Nvidia Shield and I hit the back button to bring up the guide so I have PIP of show and guide showing, I no longer can hit the back button again after looking through the guide to get back to the show in full screen. This used to work, but after some update it no longer works. The back button just keep moving up the menu. So I no longer can easily get back to the show I was watching in full screen. If there is another way to easily get back to the show in full screen I would love to know.

I noticed the same behavior on the Apple TV client as well.

It’s not an easy way, but the only way I’ve found to get back to full screen mode is to select the same show in the Guide. If you accidentally select a different show or exit their mode, you lose your playback buffer if you have pause Live TV to allow you to jump over commercials.
