Can‘t Start Webclient

Since the last update it‘s not possible to sign in/start the Plex-Web-Client.
I‘m using a Mac mini.
Without the possibility to sign in the Web Client there‘s no connection with the server.
If I want to start the App on my Mac nothing happens.
Any ideas?

What was the first indication that it failed?!?

I mean you give absolutely no indication of what you tried and how it failed to meet your expectation. No error messages. No steps to reproduce. No description of the problem really other than “it didn’t work”. How are we to attempt to help given no information? I guess you could check the log file for clues. Other things could be, did you start the server? Did it continue to run or just die? Any errors in the log file? Is any of the web interface shown?

The first indication was, that the Web Client didn‘t start.
So i‘ve reinstalled the Server several Times - didn‘t help.
If i try to Start the App, it doesn‘t start. Either there‘s a shortcut at the Toolbar nor does the website opens.
I‘ve Started the Mac and the Router several Times new. I‘ve tried it with Safari and Chrome.
At my Windows Laptop I could Download and start the webclient

If the Plex Media Server won’t start and doesn’t even get to the stage where it’ll be writing to the server logs, you can attempt the following procedure to see if there’s any error messages on the OS level:

  1. Open Finder and navigate to /Applications
  2. Select Show Content from the context menu of the Plex Media Server.app item
  3. Navigate to Contents/MacOS
  4. Open the Terminal app
  5. Drag the Plex Media Server executable from the Finder window (#3) into the Terminal Window and press Return to execute it

This is no different from running the app, so it won’t succeed – but you should get a more specific error message about what’s causing it to fail starting.
