Server Version#: 1.21.0.3711
Player Version#:
I recently rebooted my mac mini that I use as a dedicated plex media server and when I try to open the server app it just goes to a blank page with the Plex logo. I cannot access the server on the mac at all from the mac, however I can access it from my laptop. The only thing I’ve done differently was I skipped the last prompt to update. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling Plex Media server, but I get the same result
Hello,
From my side, I have the same issue on my MacMini. Today, as I will open the plex server, only the Plex symbol appear. Not more. But the server is running in the back.
I don‘t know, what is to do.
Thanks for helping
Ralf
Try manually downloading Plex Server and swap out the app in the application folder.
Plex must be not running
Thank you for helping.
But this workaround doesn‘t work. The same issue after this.
Here some more information:
Server Version#: 1.21.1.3766-7e23ef53c
macOS: 10.10.5 Yosemite
Plex Server is running. I have perfect connection from all my clients.
But, if I open in Safari, the address is 127.0.0.1:32400\web\index.html and Safari shows the Plex sign only.
I have try two other topics:
a) I have delete the preferences com.plexmediaserver.plist.
b) I have copy an older database back to com.plexapp.plugins.library.db
Both has not working. After that the same again: Safari shows the Plex sign.
What can I do more?
I already tried reinstalling the PLEX Server app. I can play fine from my devices. For whatever reason I cannot access the server app from my server machine.
Your options have run out now you must do a clean install, following instructions carefully.
