Can’t tap More or Settings on Firestick

When trying to choose Play, Settings or More in the main screen for an episode, the box flashes quickly and I am not able to choose any of the options. It’s hard to describe this problem. I want to be able to delete the episode from this requestor box, but it flashes off quickly and makes it impossible to choose an option. Playback is fine, although I can’t choose to play from a stopped point, since the box flashes close so fast.
