Fire TV stick 4k - options like "mark as played" not selectable

Not sure if this happened with update to server version Version 1.24.1.4931 or earlier.

On Fire TV Stick 4K when browsing local media items like TV shows, I can select the show, select the season, browse through episodes and play episodes fine. If browsing shows I can see the highlight around the show and when I press down, the highlight goes away and does not appear around the options below i.e. Resume, Mark As Played, Mark as Unplayed, More. These options cannot be selected or used. Pressing the down arrow again will go to the next UI fields (cast) and work as normal.

I cannot find an option to update the plex app on the device.

I am experiencing the same issue with FireTV 4K, this prevents me from changing subtitles to ‘off’ which leads to another issue regarding subtitles which causes Plex FireTV app to throw an unknown error.

The only work around I have is to manage the media item in a separate application (mobile or browser) then return to the FireTV and resume playback.

I have tried deleting the Plex app on FireTV and reinstalling, but still experience the same issues.

This happens on the latest beta player (8.23.0.27576-beta) too.

Hi, I am having the same issue also. Just noticed it yesterday when I tried to ‘Play Version’ on a TV episode with multiple versions and could not navigate to the play options. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app before finding this post and seeing others are having the same issue.

Same here seems that titles with Tidal listings are the culprit for me anyway.

Is there an eta for this fix? Same problem. This is a major PITA as several shows are incorrectly matched to another series and the only fix has been to use the play version option. Now no way to use the application for these shows. Is there an ETA for a fix or instructions on how to roll back to an older version?
