The Plex app supports it. You can try my most recent sample here.
If the file does not supply the needed color info it will look like this on the Plex app, which is why I was asking for a setting specifically to block 10-bit direct play be added.
You can still watch those files that come up green in the native app by using the Plex plugin on Kodi, but you will be playing back in software at that point, so there will be performance issue with high resolution/bitrate files. I find 720p is generally okay. But complicated subtitles or 1080p can have judderly playback.
