I have recently switched from using Apple Music subscription service to Plex to allow me to stream my local music library to all my machines (both over LAN/WAN).
In my car, I’ve noticed with Plex I’m not able to view my library or upcoming track list like I am over bluetooth like I can with Apple Music within the native music system.
Is this something we can get the devs to look and and potentially enable? (I am not using Carplay, this is just through blueooth streaming)
Hmm, I’m not sure how to do this (and whether anyone other than Apple can), if any other devs know feel free to let us know 
I’m not an iOS developer myself but I believe the functionality or standard required to enable this is AVRCP 1.4+.
