Can we get a bug tracker?

Seriously? Can we get a bug tracker or something? It’s next to impossible to get visibility to the people that matter for bugs. And I totally appreciate that Plex employees cant read every single thread and work out if it’s a bug or not.

would be nice to have a page where you do a description of the bug upload logs etc, maybe people can vote on the bugs etc. I love the forum support and all but if it’s a bug that can only be fixed with a code change then you have to pray your thread is spotted by a DEV. I get that something like a bug tracker may get spammed with “why doesn’t my low power server transcode 4k” and such but if we can vote things up/down then perhaps that would help filter that sort of “not a bug” issues out?

While I do agree you need a better way to raise bugs and get them seen by the devs in the first place as well.

For example on fireTV gen 2 4k direct play gets scaled to 1080p because the plex app doesn’t appear to follow the api correctly and request 4k mode. This has been going on for months. How can you possible get a bug onto a readonly list in the first place.

Let’s start a petition for him to read all the threads tagged as [bug]. I assume he needs no sleep and can do this 24/7 :slight_smile:
