Can we get a replace or delete original option in the Optimizer to make it usable with the DVR? Not everyone has a fast enough CPU for on the fly transcoding with the DVR? Being able to scheduled it to be done like a post processing script with the optimizer would be really helpful. You already have the optimizer built so no need to reinvent the wheel here, just add a few options.
This would also allow us to downgrade that lasted episode of the reality show that your family must have to a lower resolution to save space. The current option for this with the extend works but it doesn’t allow the granular control that we need to pick on a show to show basis. Even with the extend it still leaves it in a .TS file which still needs to be transcoded to play on most devices.
Having to employ handbrake when you already have the encoder built in seems silly.
