1) Give a COLOSSAL thanks to the Plex guys for the latest Trailer and pre-roll implementation. My suggestions (and others') regarding improving the experience were so promptly and awesomely implemented. I am absolutely over the moon.
2) Echo the sentiments above -- have the ability to use a DTS (or DTS-MA) intro for DTS movies, a DD or TrueHD intro for DD films, etc. Things like a THX intro would be more complex, as it wouldn't relate to the media info.
3) Ask that we be able to at least vary the pre-roll video. Having one pre-roll vid would get old quickly. Essentially, do something similar to what was done here.
Or you could create your own custom intro and incorporate whatever you want. There's a thread about it here.
I feel like a moron here.. but the support article (and you) mention to go to the detail page. What is the detail page? Is it the main page when you open a video that allows to mark watched/unwatched, fix incorrect match, etc? or Is it the info section of that file?
My point is there's nothing clearly labeled "details"
In Plexweb simply Copy the web address that shows up when you click on your your preroll video and paste that into the preroll window in the extras

I try to find this text box to paste the url for an intro, but I can’t find it anywhere. The only setting I have in Settings -> server -> Extras is Cinema Trailers. Nothing as on the screen dump in the blog post or support document. Nothing happens if I press the "show advanced" button.

Mac server version 0.9.9.14, Plex pass member.
Screen dump attached.
Ideas?
You need at least 0.9.9.15 for the "Pre Roll" feature. Might as well go to 0.9.9.16.
But now I get another question... I ran the software update and it said it was the newest. and on the download on the website its 0.9.9.14. Is Plex pass members gettings more updates? updates earlier? Is auto software update useless for Plex Pass subscribers?
Love the new pre-roll implementation but I would love to see it where you can use it without trailers on also specify a DIR and it uses it as a Juke-box whenever u play a movie it plays a file at random in the Dir before the movie
