Hi, this is an issue that has bugged me for a while now. For those who don’t know, the dano-norwegian alphabet, has three extra letters, ÆØÅ, which are placed behind Z in the alphabet.
Plex doesn’t put the scandinavian letters Æ, Ø and Å correctly in the sort-title. The regular title shows the correct letters, it’s just the sort-title. Æ becomes E, Ø becomes 0, the number zero, and Å becomes A, so that’s what they are sorted as. I can change them manually, but that doesn’t have an effect on Å, which stays sorted as A, Æ also becomes sorted as A and Ø sorts as O, the letter. Now, when I change them manually, the letters appear out in the jump-to-letter menu on the right, all correctly below Z, although in the wrong order, ÅÆØ*, and when I click on it, it goes to where the letters should be, at the very end, not where the letters actually are in the library, sorted under A and O. So part of the function is there, just not the actual sort.
Did I mess something up in settings, or is Plex just unable to do this? The Plex is set to danish, as is the OS.
*which actually corresponds to the ordering of the swedish versions, ÅÄÖ, which should also be placed in the very back of the alphabet.
