I have just signed up for Plex & I received 3 months of free service but nothing works. I can’t subscribed to an US channels which is what I was interested in to watch the Olympics & the Daytona 500 but there doesn’t seem to be any actual LIVE TV channels so what’s the point. I want to get out of this POS before I start getting charged which I’m sure is your scam anyway. CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION ASAP!

To be fair, I’ve always thought the billboard for Live TV on the main https://www.plex.tv/ page (second bump to the right) was a little misleading to those who don’t bother to dig deeper. It’s plastered with all sorts of logos for stations and makes no mention of needing any additional hardware to gain access to them.

We know better… but it’s not immediately clear to those that don’t.

If one scrolls down just a bit below the introductory page (seen above), it is clearly stated “your media”. It doesn’t say anything about being your source of those streams.

Perhaps it could say “broadcast television capture device required for LiveTV and DVR use” or similar so it’s more clear of what’s required of the customer.

I’ll suggest that to the marketing team

That page is also just a headline. If you click on Learn More an dread the actual description, the first line is:

“With Plex Live TV and DVR you can watch and record high definition, over-the-air television broadcasts using a digital tuner and antenna”
