I read that if Plex is not picking up newly added movies that it is most likely a DB corruption. So I ran the following and I am still having issues.
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\Plex SQLite.exe” com.plexapp.plugins.library.db “.output recover.out” “.recover”
Is this maybe not the correct command to be using?
How are you naming & organizing the files? Poor naming and organization can lead to problems with media recognition. It is best to follow Plex naming structure. For example, /Movies/Movie (year)/Movie (year).ext.
Database corruption, if present, is visible in the Plex Media Server log files.
Pull your server log files (Settings → Troubleshooting). In the ZIP file, look in Plex Media Server.log (wraps to .1…5). Search for ERROR - SQLITE3 messages.
Example: Jul 11, 2021 08:45:12.051 [0x32d1f440] ERROR - SQLITE3:0x5d9e, 11, database corruption at line 64757 of [bf8c1b2b7a]
