My first post here as im a recent plex premium member, i have a PMS server and 2 clients, one running through a VU DUO running dreamplex which runs perfect.
I have a raspberry pi running rasplex which works perfectly fine for movies and tvshows.
I have a strange issue which ive tested and seems to happen on both RC3 and RC4.
If i go through my Artists and choose an album and choose an album track it only plays the first track of the album, not the track i selected. This is hugely irritating when the first song on the album is pants.
It seems to que the entire album and not just the song ive selected. Unsure if this is an expected feature but dreamplex doesnt do this, nor does the app on my ipad. I i try and use the ipad to choose a song on the raspberry pi it briefly shows the track then the player closes and the raspberry pi then goes on to play the first album track.
Am i correct in saying i should be able to scroll through my album tracks and just press play on the one i want???

I use Rasplex as one of my music players in rooms where I don't have Sonos speakers.
Note that the following relates to 0.4.0-RC4.
Select 'Music' from Rasplex Home, select any 'Artist' from Artists Screen, select any album from Artists Album Screen, current select is always the first track, at this point you can do one of two things;
1. If you move left and select the '➧' it will play the first track, the whole album will be placed in the Play Queue, when first track finishes, next track will play, and so on until the album completes (provided you haven't selected anything else and added it to the Queue.
2. If you move down (using Down) the tracks until the one you want to listen to is highlighted (if you go too far you can go back using Up), then press select, this track will start playing and that track and all following tracks will be added to the Play Queue, when first track finishes, next track will play, and so on until the album completes (provided you haven't selected anything else and added it to the Queue.
I can confirm that this works (as i was writing this response I performed each of the actions) and until PMS and Plex HT Play Queues (on which Rasplex is based) is improved and comes out of beta, this functionality is still being developed.
From an iPad/iPhone, make sure you have connected as a remote to Rasplex before selecting anything, then select Music, select the Artist, select an Album, then select the track you want and Rasplex will start playing that track and all following tracks will be added to the Play Queue, when first track finishes, next track will play, and so on until the album completes (provided you haven't selected anything else and added it to the Queue.
