Cannot connect to media server

Player Version#: PlexMediaServer-1.30.1.6497-5fc2e0894-MyCloudPR2100_OS5

Hi

ever since I upgraded to the latest Plex release (above), I wake up in the morning and get an error saying that Plex can’t connect to the media server (I also wake up to Sonos playing an alarm instead of my music…). The server is definitely available (I can access the files via laptop etc without having any issues), I have reset/rebooted my server, checked the sleep settings etc, checked the Plex settings but cannot find the issue. the only way I can currently reconnect is to reinstall the Plex app each morning…

How can I fix the above?

Ok, lets stop re-installing the server, and see if we can address the issue. Can you post your server logs ?

I have the same issue, was there ever a resolution to this? I updated my server to 1.30.1.6562-915986d62 and now it’s not showing when I login to my app or from a pc with chrome. The claim server button is not in settings, the configure button on the WD install is not working, http://127.0.0.1:32400/web does not work. I thought about trying to reinstall the server software but that does not seem to be working from the other use.
