Cannot Get Live TV and DVR working For The Life Of Me

I have never been able to get this working. I have repeatedly re-installed and verified the Hauppage drivers. I’m able to proceed through the setup in PMS without issue. Everything shows “green” and tuner signals appear strong. It just will not play any content. I generally get the endless spinner, or when it does “work” the content is heavily pixelated and choppy. Same results whether accessing live TV or DVR recordings.

The only suspicious thing I see in the logs is the following. It seems to iterate through this property enumeration three times before it fails.

Otherwise PMS appears to find the tuner(s) just fine.

I’ve tried HD as well as SD channels, all with the same results, and there is almost zero load on the server during attempted streaming. I’ve also tried re-configuring the DVR numerous times.

Not sure where to go from here. Any help would be appreciated.

Re-create the problem then post your server logs and client logs.

If it doesn’t start, or if it is choppy when it does start, it could be a signal problem. Can you watch channels in the Hauppage app?

(My signal strength on most channels is near 100% … but signal quality is still too low to watch any of them, with or without Plex.)
