Server Version#:1.25 : plexmediaserver_1.25.0.5220-de6e61df7_amd64.deb
Player Version#:
Takes a restart of the NAS to even initiate the upload, then after a few minutes get the error ‘Application plexmediaserver cannot be installed.’
If I attempt another upload after that, get the error immediately. The previous working version was deleted during the installation.
The version 1.11 that is in the Available apps (the ReadyNAS’s ‘App Store’) does install but is completely useless as it very old (the player requires 1.18 and later - BTW, why is it even there?!)
The NAS is running the latest 6.10.5 Hotfix 1 OS and hasn’t been updated in several months, and the previous version of the plexserver was running just fine on it.
Please help as the system is obviously totally unusable.
Tried installing on my second backup NAS - same problem. plexmediaserver_1.25.0.5246-cb2507e4d_amd64.deb gives an immediate error,
Attempting to install the version I ever had any luck with (see above) plexmediaserver_1.24.5.5173-8dcc73a59_amd64.deb restarts the web interface requiring a new login, with the plexmediaserver app NOT installed.
It is pretty clear now that the installation has failed on TWO separate NAS’es that the problem is with plex, not ReadyNAS. Anyone?
