I am presently running 1.42.1. Is this the end of the line and if it is what nas software have people loaded on their discontinued ReadyNas?
@doubleos Thanks for reporting. Is your current install (1.42.1) still running after seeing this error? Can you please download your PMS logs after the error and share them with me?
If you have SSH access to this device you should still be able to perform an upgrade for Plex Media Server. Place the Plex Media Server install somewhere accessible on your NAS. SSH to the NAS and run the following command.
dpkg -i /path/to/installer/plexmediaserver_1.42.2.10156-f737b826c_amd64.deb
“/path/to/installer” would obviously need to be actual path to where ever you put the file.

@Atomatth my 1.42.1 is still running. And thank you so much, your direct method worked. Apparently a new 1.43.x just came out and I tried again to use built-in app installer which failed, so I guess I will attempt another dpkg install. thank you very much!
