I’ve built a new plex server on unraid and was attempting to remove access to the old server that I’m decommissioning, but I realize I actually fully removed all sharing from a number of users on my account. So far, they can all still access the new server, but they’re not visible in my shared users list.
Attempting to send an invite to any of the 13 affected users gives the error:
" You’re already sharing this server with [email address]. Please edit your existing share."
I mentioned the one user that did seem to get genuinely removed (the first one); but the rest are stuck in this orphaned state. They all seem able to stream, but I can’t edit their library access, etc., because they’re not listed.
I have the same issue! I think the problem may have been caused by removing all shared libraries without removing the friend from Sharing. Something happened recently where the friend doesn’t show up on the sharing list, and I can’t re-invite them, and I am instructed to edit his existing share. He can’t see me in his Sharing setting either, so he can’t leave my server. This friend used to show up even with no libraries shared.
I think this should be reproducible–I have a second friend who “disappeared” under the same circumstances.
I am also having this same exact issue. Trying to re-add and invite a friend and it’s telling me to edit the existing (nonexistent) share. Are you able to assist with me as well?
