Cannot login using plex.tv/link on latest app for LG TV

I have Plex Media Server on PC and can connect with my phone and laptop but not my LG TV since last update.

I go to login and says visit plex.tv/link to login. I do so and it logins and says “You are ready, thanks for using plex”. The app is restarted but not logged in. Do the same thing again and I just end up at the login screen?

Try this:

  1. Login to Plex Web and go to Settings -> Authorized Devices.
  2. If your LG TV is listed, remove it (click the red X)
  3. Turn off your TV, then unplug it for ~20 seconds.
  4. Plug it back in, turn it on, launch Plex app.

hi, i have same problem, after app update the tv can’t connect to server … the solution doesn’t work for me.

It’s unclear which LG platform you’re on (Netcast or webOS), if it’s Netcast please reply to Issues on LG Netcast Devices otherwise please open a new thread with the information requested in the Netcast thread.
