Cannot make PlexConnect run on NAS - trailers unavailable

Hi guys,

I have Plex Media Server running on a NAS (Zyxel NSA325v2) and I am trying to setup PlexConnect on it.

PlexConnect works in a sense that when I go to trailers and I can see and use my Plex plugins.

The problem is that when I try to run a movie via the plugins I immediately get the trailers unavailable error message.

The same setup is working fine when I run both Plex Meda Server and PlexConnect on my PC instead of the NAS.

Could you please be so kind to help me with this?

Honestly, my knowledge of servers, ports, etc. is very much limited :frowning:

Any help is very much appreciated!

Your ATV model (2 or 3) and firmware version (found under the ATV settings > general > about > Apple TV software):

The Plex media server (PMS) version number you are running (do not put ‘latest’):

Detail on the media file if it is an issue related to playing a media file (in order to get the necessary information on a particular media file go into the Plex web interface, select the video file, when it brings up the page for the media file click on the “i” information button on the left hand side, it will then bring up a “media info” box, click on the “View XML” button, it will then open a browser window with the relevant information, copy this to http://www.pastebin.com and use the pastebin link to post the details; posting the information directly in the forum may mess up the formatting and generally takes up a lot of space):

Not related to video file formats. These are just mp4 videos I am trying to run via Plex plugin.

A detailed description of the issue (the clearer you can make this the better):

Ensure you post your ‘PlexConnect.log’ file to pastebin and post the link (‘PlexConnect.log’ is located in your PlexConnect folder). If possible, follow these steps to create a “more detailed fresh” one:

Cheers,

mikiril.

I've just tried to start PlexConnect on my PC with Plex Media Server running on NAS - and it is working fine. So, the problem is not with my Plex Server but with PlexConnect on NAS :(

Any thoughts, someone?

OK, it turned out that something's wrong with PlexConnect version from 04 July 2014. On my PC I had version from 05 June 2014. When I copied this version to my NAS - it is working fine ;)

NO! It actually turned out it is working fine after I log out from MyPlex (go to Settings -> Log-out)! WTF?!
