I dont get this...
I have the following stuff:
Router with DD-wrt v24 sp2
Synology NAS DS212J /DSM 4.2
Appletv v3
PMS 0.9.8.3.96-eee3b6a (bought membership to get a new version)
Plexconnect 0.1-5
Python 2.7.5-6
In Putty SSH I have the following:
PlexConnect]
port_pms = 32400
enable_plexgdm = True
ip_dnsmaster = 8.8.8.8
ip_webserver = 0.0.0.0
loglevel = Normal
enable_dnsserver = False
ip_pms = 0.0.0.0 (Ive tried changing this to 192.168.1.102, but it didnt seem to have any effect)
port_webserver = 81
In the appletv settings I have manually changed DNS to 192.168.1.102 (my NAS).
I have followed the guide in DNS Server Package aswell, and stopped/removed the app, after done all the settings, as told.
Everything is up running without errors in the log files.
However, all I get it "Accessing Trailers" for ages, before finaly getting the "Trailers is unavailable. Try again later."
Am I doing an obvious error, or woot? :)

A PlexConnect.log might help...
When using "port_webserver=81", did you set up some port-forwaring on you NAS?

Well... I just updated the PMS to 0.9.8.4, and now I actually get to the point where I can see the library.
However I now have this message when trying to play a movie which isnt an mp4:
An error occured loading this content. Try again later.
I would love to give you the log files from both PSM and Plexconnect, but Im lost on how to retrieve them...?!
I have forwarded all ports to my NAS (at least I think so.. http://quq.dk/ports.jpg )

Your NAS is most probably not able to do "transcoding".
You have to run the PMS on a "powerful" machine that supports remuxing or even full transcoding - aTV only accepts m4v/mp4 and some http streaming stuff...
Edit: I have no idea about NAS port forwarding... so no answer on that one.

Hmm... interesting... so basicly the Synology DS212j can never be able to play avi files on an apple tv, because its too weak...
Which means that the only option I have is to either convert all my avi files to mp4 manually, or to not use plex..?

Well, I am not sure about your special NAS, but I guess, overall there is some truth in your words.
But then there is a 3rd option - run PMS on your desktop?
