My M1 Mac Mini crashed while I was scanning a library folder and now the server will not open at all. Whenever I click the app I can see the server icon appear in the top taskbar for about half a second and then it completely vanishes and I cannot use my Plex folders at all. I’ve tried removing the Plex server app and reinstalling it with the latest version but it just does the same thing. I’d be really grateful if someone could give me an idiots step by step guide on how to fix this please? I’ve never had this problem before. I’m running Monterey 12.0.1
Writing to DB when it crashed I would expect corruption. I would look at the server logs and see if there is any database corruption, if there is you can restore a database backup.
Thanks but I can’t seem to find the database to back it up. I deleted the server and was hoping to start again from square one and reinstall everything but the server itself won’t fire up at all. Do you anyway that I can just remove everything and start again? I did this a couple of times on my old Windows 10 laptop but can’t seem to make it work on the Mac
