After updating to 1.23.3.4692, PMS completely crashes during scanning of the Music library. The only way to get back up is to manually close and reopen it. The Movies and TV libraries scan fine with no issues. I even have an Audiobook library that is scanning fine. Music is the only one giving me a problem.
The only difference between the Music and Audiobook libraries (being they are both technically “music libraries”), is that the Audiobook library is using the old Plex Music Scanner and a 3rd party agent, and Music is using the newer Plex Music scanner and agent.
Could the problem be specifically with the Plex Music agent and scanner? I’ve included logs. When I rolled back to the previous build, the library scanned fine again. So, the problem is definitely being caused by this update. Please help. Thanks.
Ditto just downloaded some old Music from my OneDrive to clear space for my Xbox Captures and I got prompted to update to a newer version of Plex when trying to scan the music in, after updating still can’t scan anything in and I’m currently using DSM7…
Mine started doing this on Version: 1.24.0.4930
Still doing it on Version: 1.24.1.4931 - 6000
Plex Server running on Synology NAS 1815+ with DSM 6.2.4 - 25556
I find that analysing TV to add “Intro Skipping” and running the “audio fingerprinting” scan crashes the server app and requires log in to the Synology to manually run it again.
Also, since 1.24.0.4930, when clicking synopsis text that is truncated, in order to see any additional text after the ellipsis, all I see is a blank screen. This only happens on Movies for some reason.
