Start from the “Home” section instead of in a library. I assume you’re trying from the Desktop client (Mac or Windows) or the Web client. Dunno about other clients.
Here’s a search from the Home page for “Clint Eastwood”
Not only across libraries but even servers.
If you start the search from inside a library it will only search that library.
You can search for actors. If you are clicking on the actor image in Web from the preplay page of a movie or TV show, then it will only give results from that library.
