Until about six months ago, streaming 1080p video to my devices from my PMS on my late 2013 2.7GHz Quad Core 21.5" iMac was flawless, regardless of the platform it was streaming to. Now it is unusable, with any video, regardless of the type of file container or codec. I am fairly sure from what I have read on this forum that the computer is powerful enough to run PMS, but at the beginning of every video I have tried to stream, I get the message 'Your connection to the server is not fast enough to stream this video. Check your network or try a lower quality.’ From what I have seen from other users on the forum, this is a fairly common issue. So my question is: what changed with the more recent builds of the server for Mac OS??
